My Papa was everything to me. He passed away from a heart attack just 3 days after his 60th
birthday. On September 13th my mom got a phone call saying her father had a heart attack and was in
the hospital. When we got to the hospital for an hour they kept telling us that they lost him and
could not tell us if he was ok or not. They finally found him in their system and took the whole
family into this tiny room. The doctor then came in and told us that my papa was gone. He was
driving on the highway for work and had a heart attack. That was one of the worse days of my life. I
was a real problem child and almost didn't graduate high school but after his death I tried harder
in school. The one wish he had for me was to walk across that stage and I did just for him. He was a
veterian in the US Navy. Just 2 years later I had my first son. I still to this day am heart broken
because my Papa never got the chance to see him. Less than 2 years after he was born I had my second
little boy who also passed away at just 10 weeks.

A brief moment of darkness
was all that I knew,
before Heaven's Gate
came into my view.
Loved ones and friends
I had missed for many years,
welcomed me with open arms
and many happy tears.
All the hurt, fear and pain
that I have ever known,
is gone from my life,
I am finally home.
I gazed upon the Lord's
sweet smiling face,
and for the first time in my life
I knew and felt His grace.
I know that you miss me,
but please dry your eyes.
I will always be watching and loving you
from my home in the sky.
A cool breeze on your face,
a touch of light rain,
I will send as a reminder
that we will be reunited again.
Life on earth is but one
brief moment in time,
I am finally home,
Eternity is mine.

The day we got that phone call is still so fresh in my mind. I think about you a lot. I can't believe you never got to meet Hunter. Please watch after my baby Jayden (your great grandson) for me. He's beautiful isn't he? He was my pride and joy. Tell him how much we all love and miss him. We all love and miss you too.
